Comparing Nintendo Wii with Playstation3 and Xbox360

Now the next generation of game consoles have arrived, but the question is, which of the new game consoles Nintendo Wii, PS3 and Xbox360 has the most benefits?

Let us look at the new Nintendo Wii first.
This is the most unusual of the three game consoles that we're viewing. It comes with an IBM Broadway Processor and ATI Hollywood GPU. It is not as powerful as the Playstation 3 or the Xbox 360 the unique game play system of the Nintendo Wii and its remote controller make all the difference to playing games with this console. The controller has the advantage of the player being able to use it as a sword, baseball bat, golf club and even a steering wheel which results in the games being more dynamic and the gamer is getting some form of additionally exercise.
Another great benefit of the Wii is the great load of applications available for it such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Call of Duty, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Need for Speed: Carbon as well as Wii Play and Wii Sports. In the future they'll also bringing out Super Smash Bros Brawl and Pokemon Battle Revolution.
Finally the Wii is backwards compatible with the Nintendo GameCube. It can be plugged in via wireless link to the Nintendo DS or DS Lite, as well as people could download and play on this console Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, NES, Sega Mega-Drive from Genesis and Turbo Grafix 16 games for an affordable price.

This console comes with 3.2GHZ IBM Power PC tri-core processor as well as a 500MHZ GPU. The Xbox 360 is particularly attractive to gamers because of its powerful running speeds, the mind blowing graphics, and the fast paced online action. Another benefit in the Xbox 360's favor is its cost. A core system you'll get at $299.99 while a premium system you can afford at $399.99. The Xbox 360 has been priced between what you would pay for a Nintendo Wii as the cheapest system and the most expensive PS3.
Nevertheless, a great disadvantage of the Xbox360 is, that it is not possible to play original Xbox games on it without getting extra emulation software from the internet. The reason is that it does not have a processor in it from the original Xbox.

Finally let's check what the Playstation 3 is offering.
The Playstation 3 is the most expensive of these three game consoles. In Europe or Australia it is available since March 2007. It is the most expensive console. It does come for $499.99 with 20gb while the $599.99 version has 60gb along with a new Blu-Ray drive and Sixaxis controller. It also comes with a Cell Broadband Engine (3.2GHZ), IBM Power Based CPU and a 550MHZ RSX GPU. The inbuilt CPU is almost equal to the Xbox360. This console is really perfect for gamers who love Racing and FPS games.
The Playstation 3 is compatible with the Playstation Portable (PSP) as well as being compatible with Playstation and Playstation 2 games and future firmware updates will then make it even more compatible.

Now it's the question, do you want the more expensive but powerful PS3 or the medium priced yet powerful Xbox360? Or may be greedy for the cheaper but unique and highly backward compatible Nintendo Wii? So you'll have to determine what's your favor. The determination is yours at the end of the day.
